Download a machine-readable copy of the account and meeting information associated with your signed-in profile.

How to export
- Sign in to Recap.md.
- Open Settings and find the “Your data” section.
- Select “Export my data.” Your browser will download a JSON file.
What the file contains
The export includes your profile settings, transcript records, raw transcript data when available, generated summaries, calendar details saved with transcripts, individual transcript segments, and extension connection metadata. It does not contain secret extension tokens, their hashes, or short-lived Google access tokens.
Protect the download
The file can contain sensitive meeting content and participant information. Store it securely and avoid sharing it unless everyone with access is authorized to receive it. The download is generated on request and is not cached by Recap.md.
